Bookmark Galore Again

Its been a while since I updated you on all with the recent client order of magnetic bookmarks.....have a look...

The first one is for a small girl and the other two for boys...the middle one with the name!!

Another angle...... the fairy is a digi from Pink Gem Designs

This was my first attempt with boys bookmarks and am happy the way it has turned out...

The first one is again for a little girl with her name and the other two for two adults....

The princess image and sentiment is a Recollection stamp set stamped on Fabriano CS and colored using Tombow Markers...

The books and apple are a TPC cling stamp set...stamped on Brustro and colored using BIC markers...

The sentiment card is from Echo Paper -Hello Summer Collection...

Hey Cupcake.....(that's what her very first card to me said....) and am returning the title as she truly is the "Cupcake Girl" .....not many know but she is equally fascinated with Cupcakes and Donuts (Khush does not share this love with us :(  *sob *sob) as she is with butterflies and blings....We are the reflection of each other in more than many ways!!!! We are best when we are bitching...heheheh I guess that brings out the best in us..okie I guess I  let out the secret and she may kill me for this.....

I wonder how a DCWV paper stack decided to bind us together in a friendship that shall now be prized and possessed through out our lives!!! (I have yet not used that stack till now Tee...remember how desperate I was to have it.....and thanks to you it's lying with a hoarder!!) Life gives an opportunity once and am happy we both grabbed it with both hands .....unbelievable that we have not yet completed a year!!! 

The chats...the swap discussion...the meano discussions....the product reviews ....the techniques and tip discussions have become a part of our daily life and its amazing how when we are busy with loads of work and are unable to chat ...the day ends with BBM pings saying "whats up....what did you do...missed chatting yaar..did I miss any gossip through the day" ...its almost as if the day stood still unless that exchange of pings took place between us!!!!


Okie now a confession, your birthday card chewed up my brains (its not easy to design and make cards for a perfectionist...and more over for such a close buddy....you end up feeling if the card/gift is good enough or not...)...I mean yess "its your day" and am suppose to be good to you and pamper you but ......anyways....after a lot of rejections at idea level and a few tear here and there to fill my dustbin.....I finally decided that your birthday card had to be an extension of what you are......so here it is for you and only for you.....Happy Birthday...and may you get what you dream...and celebrate many such birthdays in the coming years!!!

Incy Wincy Mondays-Sketch Challenge

Today its Incy Wincy Mondays.....yayyaya ....and with the new day.... a new challenge !!! This week we have a sketch challenge......the sketch is made by Sheryl (DT at Incy Wincy) and Our sponsor this week is the lovely Pink Gem Designs with a prize of 3 single digis.

And here is my take on the sketch .......

I made my first Circle Easel card !!! I have known how to make most of the multifold cards but never ever given it a try except the Pop up Cards ...so I thought the best time is NOW!!! Its my niece's birthday, so this is for my cutie pie....

The digi has been printed on a Fabriano Cardstock and colored with Tombow Markers. It has then been given a fussy cut and with the help of a dimensional popped on to the card. The Card base has been cut using the Spellbinders Die ....

I decided upon a gift box....as the gifting season in India has started with the onset of the festival of lights "Diwali"....Its time my family starts packing small items not just for family but friends all over....

The image has been colored with Tombow Markers and sprinkled with Frost Shimmer...

The tag is stamped and sprinkled with Golden Shimmer...

Did you all see the "I am a winner" at Incy Wincy Designs-Make a Bookmark Challenge  badge??? Well that also gave me an opportunity to interact with Chris who happened to offer me a chance to be a Guest DT at their challenge blog for a month!!!yayayyaya...and am super excited with my first post for them.....

The theme of the challenge this week is BEARS, BEARS, BEARS.  And the sponsor is The Stamp Fairy with a prize of $10 Gift Cetificate for the shop.

Well I was given an option to choose between a few images to play with and could choose anyone from that for any project that I could think off!!! Wooow....must say they are a pretty flexible team to work with...who offer you enough room to put on your creative caps and think of what you can offer to them in return....

So this is what I created with my Stamp Fairy image....have a look....

I have made a treat bag using the image....the treat bag base is Bazzill Textured Cardstock....the image is printed out on a white Fabriano CS and then die cut...coloured with my Tombow Markers....the green strokes that you see on the background is done using my Staedtler watercoloring pencils ....

The top border punch is Fiskars Border Punch-Treading Water

After filling the colours with my Tombow Markers I have sprayed the entire image with Spritz Frost Shimmer...am not sure the camera has captured it too well....
